Alok was born in Brazil to two DJ parents, Swarup and Ekanta, who instilled in him a love for electronic music since birth. They created the electronic music festival in Bahia and invited him every year. He started his music career at 10, by 12 he was DJing in public. Alok slowly worked up a reputation as being one of the best dance DJs in the world.
