Exploring a wide range of wonderful sounds, we’ve quickly fallen in love with the debut single from iisaac titled “Tired of You”. Read on with us for our in-depth analysis of the track, in addition to a background and insight on the artist.

Switching gears from making Indie and Alternative music, iisaac has gone forward and made the switch to R&B in a nonconventional way. In our opinion, this debut single “Tired of You” is exactly the type of sound we’ve looking for when it comes to experimentation. Playing around with lo-fi vocals and a minimalistic beat has allowed for this artist’s vocals and production to become the star of the show.

Written in his room using a guitar and GarageBand, there’s no way you’d be able to assume a song like this was made using a bare bones production. The final output and our first impressions were overwhelmingly positive, so a massive congratulations to this artist behind the track. With influences stemming from Ariana Grande and Clairo, iisaac isn’t confining himself to one genre of music, rather making what he feels works as a whole. On this single in particular, there’s tons of positive influence, but a whole lot of original signature sounds from an artist that so clearly knows what he’s doing.

Citing the writing process as therapeutic, we can also confirm that it was not only relaxing to listen to. As mentioned by the artist, he’s exploring a new side of his creativity that’s pushed him outside his typical boundaries, and we can commend him here on the great job. For the first time listener of ‘Tired of You”, we can virtually guarantee that by the end of the song you’ll be singing along with the lyrics and effortlessly bobbing your head along to a super chill beat.

While iisaac is certainly not a stranger to creating music as a whole, it’s really enjoyable to see an artist like this branch out and start to release original tunes under a new moniker. We would love to hear everything that was released prior to this, but we’re all about looking forward, and we’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on what’s to come from a talented musician like this. For us, this feels like the type of song that deserves a close and focused listen, preferably in the wee hours of the night. With that all being said though, do not skip out on a listen, you’re going to love it!
