Fresh off the release of their latest single, “Found”, we got the unique opportunity to speak with guitarist and vocalist Adam Tiro of The Freight. To watch our latest interview, please click the link below.

For those unaware, The Freight are an an upbeat fusion of Rock N' Roll, Blues Rock, Soul and Jam mixed with a contemporary Modern Rock edge. Embracing all facets of rock music, their influences trickle down from some of the greats such as Led Zeppelin, White Denim, and The Cars. While they’ve taken more of an 80’s synth rock approach to “Found”, it might just be one of their best yet.

Made up of band members Adam Tiro (guitar/vocals), Stephen Anderson (bass), Greg Tragellis keys/vocals), Marc Loverin (drums), and John Marinilli (percussion), they’re creating music that music lovers across the board need in their lives. Most of 2020 for The Freight pivoted their focus to the studio in which they’ve put in immense amounts of work to release music on a regular basis for this year. Their debut single was put out in August of last year, and since then, they’ve been on a serious roll.

Now we don’t want to give too much away, because we’d obviously prefer you watch the full interview, but Adam was an absolute joy to speak with. Besides talking about “Found”, we spoke in-depth about the band’s and his personal musical influences, what he’s up to when he’s not making music, and so many more intriguing topics. While we would have loved to get a word in from the rest of the band, the door is always open for The Freight to come back and speak again once more music has hit the airwaves.

Our interview should surely convince you to listen to their music, but if you’re too lazy to watch, let it be known right here that this band’s the real deal. The passion, originality, and love for music has become the formula for them to crank out memorable tracks. With a plan to hopefully release a single a month until a cohesive EP or album comes, we’ll absolutely have our eyes and ears peeled for the next big release.

For now though, we urge you to watch, but more importantly, check out out “Found”. It’s a seriously rocking song that deserves to be played loud. Enjoy!
