Blu DeTiger Serves Up All the Funk at LA's Greek Theatre

Blu DeTiger, the 25-year-old multi-instrumentalist and singer, delivered a captivating performance at the iconic Greek Theater in Los Angeles on April 20th, 2023. Having the opportunity to open for Sabrina Carpenter must have been special, however she completely blew us away through the entirety of her set. Thankfully we were up close to recount the night, so please enjoy our review and extensive photo gallery below.

Blu has been rapidly gaining popularity with her infectious pop-funk sound, and she did not disappoint the packed crowd of enthusiastic fans. The show featured an energetic performance of "Vintage," the lead single from Blu DeTiger's debut EP "How Did We Get Here?" The crowd immediately got into the groove, swaying to the funky bassline and singing along to the catchy chorus. Blu DeTiger's impressive bass guitar skills were on full display, and she effortlessly transitioned from playing the instrument to dancing and singing.

Throughout the show, Blu’s energy and stage presence kept the audience engaged. She interacted with the crowd, cracking jokes and sharing stories behind her songs. More fan favorites from her EP were played and had the audience singing along and dancing along with its upbeat tempo. The performance showcased her versatility as a musician and entertainer.

We’re major fans of everything she’s done so far, so it was certainly a personal bucket list moment to finally see her. The Greek Theatre of all the venues in Los Angeles was absolutely the place for it and she rocked that stage as if she were the headliner. In our mind though, she was. Overall, Blu DeTiger's performance at the Greek was a testament to her talent and potential as an artist. Her infectious energy, impressive musicianship, and relatable lyrics made for an unforgettable night that left the crowd wanting more. It's clear that Blu DeTiger is a rising star in the music industry, and her fans can't wait to see where her journey takes her next.
