Fall Out Boy Light It Up at the Honda Center in Anaheim

The second leg of their US tour, So Much For (2our) Dust, beginning last week, made it’s sold out stop in Anaheim last night on the iconic Honda Center stage. Featuring over twenty years of hits, Fall Out Boy’s performance is bound to impress both younger fans and elder emo’s alike. With a career spanning set, a flame throwing bass, and special surprise guests, there is no question as to why Fall Out Boy has fully taken over the pop-punk world for over two decades.

Following the release of their eighth studio album, So Much (for) Stardust, Patrick Stump (vocals and guitar), Pete Wentz (bass), Joe Trohman (guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums), hit the road again for their first headline tour since 2019, and were instantly met with sold out arenas filled with fans lined out the door. Whether it was a Grammy-nominated hit single or a deep cut track, from the moment they hit the stage, fans didn’t miss a beat. Bringing out Cobra Starship, another pop-punk staple band, for their first live performance since 2014, absolutely sealed the deal on just how well this band knows their audience, causing a complete uproar of shock and delight from the crowd for a performance of ‘Good Girls Go Bad’.

The evening began with three outstanding opening acts, consisting of punk bubble-grunge duo Daisy Grenade, “Arizona emo” band The Maine, and Jimmy Eat World, an absolute staple to all things alternative rock.
