FIGHTMASTER Connects with the Audience at Los Angeles' Teragram Ballroom

E.R. Fightmaster, for their final tour stop and homecoming show, transformed Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom into something that felt bigger than a concert, delivering a performance rooted in connection, vulnerability, and queer community. After an opening set from Ill Peach, every lesbian in the room buzzed with anticipation before Fightmaster even took the stage, creating a remarkably personal atmosphere despite the packed venue.

Emotional depth is central to their songwriting and is one of the main reasons the queer community instantly adored their project. Their debut EP Violence introduced listeners to an introspective soundscape that blends an indie rock with folk-inspired songwriting. Ever since, fans have fully embraced their ever-evolving sound that continues to push forward, experimenting with fuller arrangements and richer production without sacrificing the raw honesty that first drew listeners in.

Fightmaster’s music career has been just as compelling as their acting history. Long before establishing themself as a recording artist, Fightmaster became widely recognized for playing Dr. Kai Bartley on Grey’s Anatomy, the series’ first non-binary doctor. Their portrayal on one of television’s most beloved, longest-running dramas brought representation that was both authentic and thoughtful. Their work across music, television, and comedy has made them an increasingly meaningful figure within queer culture, with an impact that is impossible to ignore. Their performance doubled as both a concert and a space for people to feel accepted and understood.
