Josh Homme & Friends Unite for a One-Night-Only Benefit Concert at LA's Wiltern

Some nights are built to be remembered, and Monday, November 16th at the Wiltern in Los Angeles is shaping up to be one of them without a doubt! Josh Homme is teaming up with a remarkable group of musicians, comedians, and special guests for "Joshua Homme and Friends," a one-night-only benefit concert raising funds for two worthy organizations: CORE and the Sweet Stuff Foundation.

CORE, which stands for Community Organized Relief Effort, is the global emergency response nonprofit co-founded by Sean Penn and Ann Lee. The organization is dedicated to empowering communities in and beyond crisis. It will join Homme and the Sweet Stuff Foundation, founded by the Homme family, to put the evening's proceeds toward both causes.

The music lineup is stacked. Along with Homme himself, the program features live performances from "Weird Al" Yankovic, Justin Willman, Norah Jones, Beck, St. Vincent, The Kills, Michael Shuman, Troy Van Leeuwen, Chad Smith, John McEnroe, and Andrew Watt. That's a wide range of styles and generations sharing one stage, and it makes for the kind of bill you rarely get to see in a single evening.

The night won't stop at music, either. Comedy comes courtesy of Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, Dean Delray, and Dan Soder, so the Wiltern should be full of big laughs between the live sets. Organizers are also promising special surprise moments and appearances throughout the show. One is already confirmed: Jack Black will present a very special award during the evening.

It's a lineup that reflects the strength of the community around Homme. Musicians, comedians, and friends from different corners of entertainment are all showing up for the same reason, and the fact that it's a benefit gives the whole night a real sense of purpose. Every performance and every laugh in the room will be helping support work that matters.

With so many big names sharing one historic Los Angeles stage for a single night, this is the kind of event people will be talking about long after the final song. For anyone who can make it to the Wiltern on November 16th, it promises great music, great comedy, and the chance to be part of something that gives back.
