Oodalalee at Pier 62 Brings Star-Packed Summer Soundtrack to Seattle’s Waterfront

Seattle’s live music scene is getting a serious upgrade this summer as The Crocodile — one of the city’s most iconic rock clubs — expands its programming for Oodalalee: Concerts at Pier 62, an open-air concert series unlike anything the city has seen in years. Set against the sweeping backdrop of downtown skyscrapers, Elliott Bay, and mountain ranges, this waterfront concert series promises a season of genre-spanning performances from some of the most exciting names in music today.

Today’s announcement confirms a fresh wave of heavy-hitting talent joining the Oodalalee lineup, including hip-hop firebrand Princess Nokia alongside bounce music trailblazer Big Freedia, soul and R&B favorite Allen Stone, the wildly beloved Greensky Bluegrass, and island reggae-country soul standout Maoli. Rounding out the new additions are electronic jazz fusion outfit Big Gigantic and Bay Area rap duo P-Lo with Rexx Life Raj — adding extra fuel to an already eclectic, stacked series of summer shows.

This marks the first large-scale, ticketed concert series at the newly renovated Waterfront Park, a public space reimagined and managed by the nonprofit Friends of Waterfront Park. Oodalalee isn’t just about music — it’s about reclaiming one of Seattle’s most beautiful public spaces for community, culture, and connection through sound.

The series kicks off with a bang: a sold-out performance from instrumental desert-surf duo Hermanos Gutiérrez on June 1. From there, the lineup reads like a festival’s greatest hits — with Silversun Pickups, Watchhouse (fka Mandolin Orange), Fruit Bats, and even a 25th anniversary show from underground hip-hop heroes Deltron 3030.

Queer Pier Pride on June 29 promises an unmissable celebration of identity and music with The Knocks and Dragonette, while Japanese punk phenoms Otoboke Beaver will bring their ferocious, high-octane energy on August 3. Disco fans can also mark their calendars for Gimme Gimme Disco: On The Water on September 13.

But what really makes this series pop is its setting. Pier 62’s waterfront stage offers breathtaking sunset views over the Sound, with the Seattle skyline and snow-capped peaks framing every performance. It’s an environment tailor-made for summer nights filled with live music, friends, and the kind of magic you can only get when great music meets unforgettable surroundings.

Tickets are on sale now at www.oodalalee.com — and if the Hermanos Gutiérrez sellout is any indication, Seattleites are eager to soak up every minute of this waterfront season.
