Head Trip Festival 2026 Announces Lineup Featuring Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, & More

The California desert is preparing for a rare electronic music gathering this fall. Promoter Goldenvoice has officially announced Head Trip, a one-time-only event landing at the iconic Empire Polo Club on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Festivalgoers can register now for access to passes at HEADTRIPINDIO.COM, with passes officially going on sale Friday, March 13 at 11AM PT.

Unlike many sprawling festivals with multiple stages competing for attention, Head Trip is designed as a fully immersive, focused experience. The entire weekend unfolds on one stage with no overlapping sets, allowing attendees to catch every performance without having to choose between artists.

The lineup reads like a who’s-who of global dance music. Saturday’s program will feature performances from superstar producer Calvin Harris, along with a highly anticipated Fisher and Chris Lake back-to-back set under their collaborative project Under Construction. Also taking the stage are Peggy Gou B2B with Four Tet, plus underground tastemakers Seth Troxler B2B Ben Sterling.

Sunday continues the momentum with dance music heavyweights Swedish House Mafia, bass innovator Skrillex, and a powerhouse back-to-back from Dom Dolla and Kettama. The lineup is rounded out by eclectic dance figures The Blessed Madonna and DJ Harvey.

A major centerpiece of Head Trip will be the U.S. debut of the Sunflower Sound System, an ambitious audio installation created by Floating Points. Housed inside a dome tent, the system is acoustically treated with panels made from mycelium and decorated with intricate tapestries and original artwork commissioned by DJ and artist Josephine Chime. Designed as an audiophile’s dream, the setup features ten unique speaker stacks positioned to create a deeply immersive listening environment. Floating Points and special guests will DJ inside the installation throughout the entire weekend.

The festival’s production is being designed by Romain Pissenem, founder of the creative production company High Scream, known for crafting some of the most visually striking stages in electronic music.

Head Trip will operate as an 18+ event, with doors opening at 3PM both days. Free parking will begin at 1PM, and attendees will also have the option to purchase car camping and shuttle passes. Official hotel packages that bundle festival passes with local lodging are already available, while details for “Befores and Afters” events are expected to be announced soon.

With a stacked lineup, immersive sound design, and a streamlined one-stage concept, Head Trip is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing electronic music gatherings of 2026. If the desert has a heartbeat this fall, it will likely be thumping in Indio.
