Ohana Festival 2025 Announces Lineup of Green Day, Hozier, Eddie Vedder, & More

Get ready to soak up the sun, sea breeze, and some of the year’s most electric live music — Ohana Festival is making its much-anticipated return to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA from September 26th to 28th, 2024, and the lineup is nothing short of stacked.

Curated by Eddie Vedder, Ohana has built a reputation over the years as one of Southern California’s most idyllic and thoughtfully crafted music festivals. It’s a three-day escape where music lovers trade in the typical asphalt festival grounds for soft sand, towering palms, and sunsets melting into the Pacific. And this year, the musical offerings are as diverse and exciting as the setting itself.

Headliners this year include the legendary punk-rock veterans Green Day, who continue to prove their live shows are nothing short of stadium-shaking spectacles. Joining them at the top of the bill is Hozier, bringing his soaring, soulful voice and hits like Take Me to Church and Too Sweet to the beachside stage. Of course, Eddie Vedder himself will take his annual place in the lineup, offering a set that’s always heartfelt and uniquely tailored to Ohana’s laid-back vibe. Rounding out the top-tier acts are Kings of Leon, whose indie-rock anthems feel tailor-made for golden hour singalongs by the water.

But the magic of Ohana has always been in its eclectic, genre-spanning undercard, and 2024’s bill is one of its most diverse yet. Breakout Brit-rock duo Wet Leg will bring their cheeky charm and buzzy indie hits, while beloved genre-benders Rainbow Kitten Surprise are set to deliver one of the weekend’s most euphoric, emotional sets. Aussie punks The Chats promise a high-energy, no-BS performance, and alt-rock stalwarts Garbage will remind everyone why their 90s catalog still hits so hard in 2024. Plus, Cage the Elephant’s chaotic, electrifying stage presence practically demands to be experienced outdoors, preferably with sand between your toes.

Beyond the stellar tunes, Ohana continues to lean into its beach culture ethos, with surf exhibits, conservation awareness events, and locally sourced food and drink that rivals any culinary fest. It’s not just a music festival — it’s a full-on lifestyle weekend with one of the most beautiful backdrops on the festival circuit.

A diverse lineup, the coolest ocean breeze, and a crowd that actually wants to be there for the music? That’s the Ohana Festival formula — and it keeps getting better every year. Tickets are on sale now, and if the past few years are any indication, you’ll want to grab yours before they vanish like the last wave of summer.
