Outside Lands 2025 Expands with New Duboce Triangle Stage & Fresh Experiences

San Francisco’s beloved Outside Lands Festival is back for its 17th year this August 8–10, and if this year’s headliners — Tyler, The Creator, Hozier, and Doja Cat — weren’t reason enough to make the pilgrimage to Golden Gate Park, the festival just dropped another surprise: a brand-new stage is joining the party. Welcome to Duboce Triangle, an intimate, genre-bending space designed to spotlight a more eclectic lineup of performances in one of the most vibrant corners of the festival grounds.

Named after the storied San Francisco neighborhood tucked between the Castro, Buena Vista Park, and Eureka Valley, the Duboce Triangle stage will be nestled in McLaren Pass — a shaded, tree-lined nook perfect for discovering rising acts and fan favorites away from the festival’s larger main stages. The inaugural lineup reads like a crate-digger’s playlist with Mayer Hawthorne, Kate Bollinger, INJI, Emo Night Tour, and the ever-rollicking Electric Feels all set to soundtrack this new gathering place. Expect genre-hopping sets ranging from indie soul to nostalgic emo anthems and late-night dance party vibes.

Adding a local heartbeat to the stage’s programming, Bay Area favorites Rainbow Girls will open each day with a special set drawn from an open mic contest held ahead of the festival — a nod to Outside Lands’ longstanding commitment to supporting regional talent.

This new stage arrives alongside another festival highlight announced earlier this month: Outsider Art, presented by Monster Energy. This immersive street art showcase will feature massive live painting sessions from acclaimed muralists Wane One, Hiero Veiga, and Jeks One, while Break Free Worldwide’s high-octane b-boy battles promise to keep energy levels sky-high between sets.

Of course, Outside Lands veterans know that getting there is half the battle — but 2025’s upgraded transportation options aim to make it easier than ever. In addition to traditional Single Day and 3-Day Shuttle Passes, the fest is introducing a new Park & Ride Shuttle Pass, offering free parking at Daly City with shuttles running to both Cow Palace and Golden Gate Park.

With three stacked days of music, art, and unforgettable food and drink on the horizon, Outside Lands 2025 is shaping up to be one of the year’s standout festivals. Tickets — including Night Shows and shuttle passes — are still available at www.SFOutsideLands.com. If you haven’t made your plans yet, consider this your sign: the park is calling.
