Angel Dweh previews his afrobeats-inspired single, "Tonight" - Interview

Seeing its official release on November 18th, we got the special opportunity to speak with Angel Dweh all about his impending single, “Tonight”. Please check out our full interview with the artist below.

Embracing a wide variety of styles and genres on his music as a whole, Angel Dweh has focused intently on creating something that mixes together Afrobeats, Pop, and R&B. His newest single “Tonight” is a perfect interpretation of what you can expect on the rest of his tunes, but now having had the chance to hear the background on its creation, this is one you’re not going to want to miss. Originally from Liberia, and now based in Pennsylvania, Angel is a singer, songwriter, composer, dancer, and actor that you should 100% keep your eyes on for more.

During our conversation with Angel, he thankfully gave us all the information we needed to know on how “Tonight” was actually built. Although he operates as a solo artist, there’s no way he’d be able to accomplish the intricacies without a solid team backing him. With friends that double as producers and beyond, everyone he’s surrounded himself with those that have his best interests in the near future. Furthermore, we’ve now done some digging on his past discography which is absolutely worth your time and energy to explore. Previously we were unaware of the Afrobeats genre, but Angel has turned us on to something that we’ve now ultimately come to love.

While we’ll most likely see some experimentation on further tracks, hopefully in the new year, “Tonight” is about as classic as it gets when it comes to Angel Dweh’s sound. As mentioned, it’s not officially released until November 18th, but you can get yourselves ready for the big day by pre saving the single below. Additionally, we’d urge everyone to follow along on his social media for all major updates. 2023 is looking big and we sincerely can’t wait to see everything that gets shared. Enjoy!
