Cas du Pree embarks on a new era with shimmering single, "Prism"
It’s like he engineered this song in some laboratory to get us to listen as much as possible. If that’s the case, then it absolutely worked! “Prism” by Cas du Pree is immedaitely a track that understands something clear about where we think music is going, atmosphere matters just as much as momentum. This single doesn’t simply aim for the dancefloor. Its created a world around it, glowing with warmth, reflection, and emotional movement while still delivering an undeniable groove.
Recorded during a prolific stretch of sessions at Arron Storey’s UK studio, where Cas and company reportedly laid down thirteen additional tracks, “Prism” arrives sounding like the opening chapter of an artist stepping confidently into a bigger sonic universe. We think it might just be the most upbeat and danceable release in Cas du Pree’s catalog so far, but what makes the track compelling is how carefully it balances energy with all the texture surrounding it.
