Gianluca Todisco fuses genres on upbeat single, "What Is Reality"
Back and better than ever, it’s one of our favorites, Gianluca Todisco. He’s just released his latest track “What Is Reality” and we are absolutely thrilled with it. Read along for our full review of the track, as well as a background on this talented artist.
Originally from Rome, Italy, but now living in the USA, Gianluca has always had a lifelong passion for music and creation as a whole. Now based in Los Angeles, he’s crafting up hit after hit, and this newest one “What Is Reality” is no different. In style, you can expect a Latin pop-inspired uptempo track that features both his Italian roots and English language.
According to Gianluca, “The song is a trip into the imagination, in our own dreams, in what we hope for and also in our deepest fears. A wild trip into the mind, the heart and the soul. The mind, a place where we can also create a reality where there are no limits, no fears, no weaknesses. A place where we are our truest version of ourselves, where we don’t need to wear any masks to fit into the modern world, our societies.”
You may remember, but it wasn’t too long back that we covered Gianluca’s single, “Brute”. Since the moment his music entered our lives, we truly have been hooked ever since. With the release of “What Is Reality”, this artist has solidified himself as a true creator and visionary within the genre. Even better though, he went ahead and created a visual to accompany the single. It was created in collaboration with the videographer Luca Marincione X Marincione Ph and it’s a leap into the unknown of our minds, where there’s no space and time and the subconscious observes our personality, our true essence.
The best part about a visual representation on this song is that you can visually see the emotion and love that went into the creation of such a stellar single. The Latin pop inspiration certainly comes through, which makes this a highly danceable and enjoyable track for all to love. Like always, Gianluca has displayed his talents as a musician, but also as a creator who knows what he wants and knows how to make it happen.
It should go without saying, but this is obviously a piece of music that we need to recommend. Every single piece of music that Gianluca is capitalizing on the greatness of the past release and it’s been quite the journey to hear his evolution of sound over time.
