Jane N’ The Jungle go nuclear with heart pounding single, “Parasite”
Jane N’ The Jungle’s new single “Parasite” is an immediate blast of modern rock as they’ve created a ferocious and unapologetically meaningful track! Produced by Cameron Mizell (Machine Gun Kelly, Jelly Roll), the track takes on the rise of AI and flips it into a firestorm about humanity’s slow slide into dependency. 100%, it’s one of the band’s most electrifying performances to date.
The band’s vocalist Jordan White delivers a performance that feels like an earthquake that’s equal parts control and chaos, able to soar with infinite power and then twist into a growl that sends shivers down your spine. Her voice doesn’t just ride the wave of Brian Dellis’s guitar riffs, it challenges them and complements perfectly. The guitar, truly, is razor-sharp, churning out riffs that hit like a wrecking ball with moments that slice clean through the track’s core.
The verses simmer with a tense edge, pulling you into the song’s paranoia before detonating into choruses that are pure, unfiltered release. The production is massive, a true wall of sound, but the producer smartly gives the arrangement breathing room, allowing everything to feel organic and alive. The rhythm section pounds away with force, anchoring the chaos with brief moments of ease in the verses too.
Lyrically, “Parasite” doesn’t shy away from the message at hand. Its portrayal of AI as an all-consuming force feels especially potent when delivered with such urgency. Rather than wallow in dystopia though, the band turn it into fuel for their most infectious and raw anthem yet.
It’s the kind of track that could level a festival crowd, each chorus designed to be screamed back in unison. Jane N’ The Jungle aren’t just sounding the alarm, they’re proving they have the firepower to back it up. This is modern hard rock at its finest.
We’ve reviewed the band plenty of times, but it’s honestly jaw-dropping that the quality somehow still continues to improve. So please, go ahead and crank this one up, follow along for more, and stay tuned for the latest. We love this band and will continue to follow them to the end!
