Leather Laces debuts with a high-octane soundtrack for chaos on “Rocket Launcher”
If ever a track deserved to be the backing score for a futuristic combat sequence or a dystopian heist gone beautifully wrong, Leather Laces’ debut single “Rocket Launcher” is it. Leather Laces emerges as a spin-off project from the sprawling Devisal Universe, a creative collective known for its experimental fusions and collaborations (most notably _SHOE), and Rocket Launcher feels every bit as cinematic and chaotic as their shared mythology. The band’s configuration—two guitarists and two synth/drum machine operators—is perfectly engineered for the kind of hybrid madness this track delivers.
From the opening seconds, Rocket Launcher ignites with heavy rhythmic patterns, soaring metal guitar riffs, and “retro military samples” that feel like they were ripped from a vintage war film. The song is relentlessly propulsive, capturing that exact, visceral moment of adrenaline before everything detonates.
