Leazes deliver a timeless Summer anthem on “Melissa In Action”
Since their arrival in early 2024, Leazes have quickly proven they’re not just another indie band jostling for space in the scene. They’ve built a reputation on the kind of energetic live shows that leave you wanting more, and they’ve armed themselves with a catalogue of songs that strike the balance between relatability and an anthemic punch.
Immediately, fans of The Kooks or Arctic Monkeys will immediately eat up what they’re putting out! Their new single, “Melissa In Action,” crystallizes everything that has propelled them this far with a sense of urgency and a sharp instinct for writing music that feels super timeless.
Clocking in at just under three minutes, the track wastes no time making its impact. It’s a short, sweet, and punchy track that understands that sometimes less is more, especially when what you’re delivering is this tightly wound.
It’s music for late summer nights where the drinks are flowing and emotions running just a little higher than usual.
