LovexLies explodes in sound on genre-spanning single, "Venom"

A cavalcade of sound, style, and beyond, this all new collaboration between LovexLies and IAmCharlieAnderson is unreal. Keep reading for a closer look into the track, in addition to a background on these talented artists.

Effortlessly blending styles and genres galore, everything about “Venom” ultimately feels fresh and innovative from beginning to end. With the help of Billboard-charting producer IAmCharlieAnderson, the indie pop act of LovexLies (pronounced Love & Lies) has undoubtedly reached new heights in his musical exploration. The more we’ve gone back for subsequent listens, the more we’ve uncovered in the mix. Obviously, we’re recommending everyone give this a listen as soon as you can.

Somewhere between Pop, Rap, Alternative Rock, with plenty of electronic elements coursing throughout the blueprint of the track, it’s legitimately difficult to pin down exactly what this is, and that’s the true beauty of it all. In three short minutes of runtime, all the artists here have put forth their best effort in creating something that 100% experiments outside the box of the normal mainstream realm of music and actively aims to create something new. Listeners are immediately taken in by a bombastic bass that sets itself up front and center, however the true shining light of the song comes from the vocals and their delivery. It’s this unique cadence through every line that has you hooked on each word, yet the style is commanding and energetic. It depicts a “cycle of toxic relationships” and we fully feel that the atmosphere and overall aura of the noise complements the messaging and themes too.

Seeing as though this is the artist’s third overall single release, we can confidently claim he’s gone three for three thus far. Each song has managed to level up the sound from the previous and this is completely a step in the right direction. Furthermore, considering there’s so much influence that spans decades and genres, it’s provided a fantastic jumping off point for future music. Wherever LovexLies decides to take his sound, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that it’s going to be as explosive and monumental as “Venom”.

While we patiently wait, please go ahead and give this a listen, follow along, and stay up to date for much more on the way.
