New Plague Radio create a new sound on "Devil Come, Devil Go"

Legitimately like nothing we’ve heard, but something we’ve fallen in love with, New Plague Radio has a killer new track out called “Devil Come, Devil Go”. Please read on for our review of the track, in addition to a background on this project.

Blending together the best elements of Punk, Indie Rock, and Hip Hop, New Plague Radio are taking experimentation the absolute max with their newest song, “Devil Come, Devil Go”. Everyone out there is surely bound to be mesmerized by this quick track, but we also feel that there’s a little bit of something for lovers of music across the entire spectrum. Undoubtedly, we are highly recommending a listen as soon as possible.

Honestly, it’s not too often we get sent a piece of music that defies genre as a whole, yet paves its own way for something niche and new. Made up of Los Angeles rapper Chief Redeye, composer Donovan Wolfington, and bassist Devin Taylor, New Plague Radio are essentially a supergroup that have talents spanning everything. At just a tad under three minutes in length, the band spends no time wasting any space within the song that isn’t full on artistry right in the listener’s face. Kicking things off a bit slow and steady, “Devil Come, Devil Go” quickly ramps up to become this ear-bending and memorable listen that will be stuck in your head for days to come.

Reviewing music like this is actually a bit difficult due to the density in the sound, but that hasn’t stopped us from giving this glowing sentiment. If anything, it’s implored as us natural listeners to discover the rest of their discography and see what else they’re capable of. If this song is any indication though for the future, we’re hooked and we need more immediately.

With all that being said though, New Plague Radio are easily one of the most fun discoveries in quite some time. Everyone out there with a pulse and an endearing love for music are going to eat this one up.
