Orlando Rocco & Jay Watts collaborate on harmonic single, "Compare"
Making a quick return with another instant classic on his hands, Orlando Rocco has teamed up with rising star Jay Watts for a collaboration titled “Compare”. Do yourselves a favor and please read our full review below, as well as an update on the artist.
Less than two months after our previous review of Orlando Rocco’s last single “Way You See Me” and his creativity and originality is still very much on the rise. In this case though, he’s collaborated with another emerging artist that goes by the name of Jay Watts. With a third named Pat Raimondo who lent his impeccable guitar skills to the mix, the three have blown out our expectations for what we initially expected. It should probably go without saying, but we’re highly recommending everyone give this a spin.
As mentioned in the past, a majority of Orlando’s music has features on them, but it gives the opportunity for new audiences to discover more artists within similar realms. Of course we’ve got to make direct comparisons to the last track that had Justis Chanell on it, but in this situation, Orlando has still managed to explore different avenues all the while keeping his signature style. Although the song is only two minutes in length (we wish it were longer!), “Compare” is flowing with endless ideas, vibes, and atmospheric elements that truly show off the artistry between two burgeoning talents. Their time is shared fairly equally throughout the listen, but each is present enough to give the listener a taste of what they could expect if they listen to their solo work.
Through inspired production, perfectly timed snaps, and euphoric harmonizations, this song is as energetic as it can be utilized as something laid back too. The versatility presented just goes to show that both Orlando and Jay had a vision before setting out on this song’s creation, but worked out a happy medium for a listen that touches on infinite moods. It might just be out favorite Orlando single yet, but we’ll have to do plenty more listening to make up our minds on that front.
