Palm Tree Crew brings Coastal Cool to Kansas City with new Palm Tree Club

Kansas City’s nightlife and dining scene is about to get a serious upgrade. On Friday, September 12, Palm Tree Crew — the global lifestyle, entertainment, and hospitality brand co-founded by world-renowned DJ Kygo and his manager Myles Shear — will debut its newest hotspot, Palm Tree Club, in the heart of the buzzing Power & Light District.

The opening marks the brand’s fourth Palm Tree Club location, but its first in the Midwest — and it’s arriving with signature sun-soaked energy. Situated right next door to 1587 Prime, the highly anticipated restaurant from NFL icons Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, the two-level venue is designed to deliver “laid-back luxury” from day to night. Guests can expect a coastal-inspired dining room and a stunning open-air rooftop lounge perfect for lunch, brunch, dinner, happy hour, and late-night events.

The timing couldn’t be better. Grand Opening Weekend will feature a lineup of entertainment from Los Carpenters, Saul Gucci, Kay Fan, and Eric Coomes, setting the tone for a space that promises to merge world-class hospitality with an elevated party atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping in for an afternoon cocktail or staying late for a DJ set under the stars, the space is built to transport guests far from the Midwest’s September chill into an endless summer mindset.

Dinner service begins at 4 p.m. on opening night, with normal hours kicking off the following day at 11 a.m. Reservations are already live on OpenTable, and given Palm Tree Crew’s track record for curating vibrant, in-demand destinations, they’re highly encouraged.

With Kygo’s tropical influence, Myles Shear’s hospitality vision, and a prime location next to two of Kansas City’s most beloved sports stars’ new venture, Palm Tree Club is poised to become a must-visit spot — not just for locals, but for anyone chasing great food, rooftop vibes, and that unmistakable Palm Tree Crew energy.
