From the opening seconds, this song 100% kept us guessing from start to finish! "IA" is the epitome of trying something new and that’s a major reason for our love for it.. As the first single from Sehore's upcoming third album, this track leans fully into experimentation, and the result is a short, punchy burst of indie and alternative rock that never once settles into anything predictable.

Recorded in 2026 at Paco Loco Studio and mastered by Mario G. Alberni at Kadifornia, "IA" carries a sense of craft behind its unconventional structure. Written in a 5/4 time signature, the song shifts between different internal groupings of five throughout. The artist mentioned that it’s sometimes 3+2, other times 2+3 or 4+1, but it creates this fragmented pulse that mirrors its subject matter beautifully. Thematically, the song explores people exhibiting fewer human traits than Turing's machine, a really clever and unsettling concept, and that shifting, off kilter rhythm gives the whole track a fittingly disorienting quality.

Sung entirely in Spanish, the track clocks in at just around two minutes, but it uses every second of that runtime to keep things interesting. The guitar moments throughout are genuinely cool, adding texture and personality to a song that already feels unpredictable. Despite all that experimentation, the track still chugs along withmomentum, never feeling like it's sacrificing energy or fun for the sake of being clever.

If you’re unfamiliar with Sehore, it’s a relatively new project born in 2025 following the debut album "Ladencia”. We’ve enjoyed so much of the music, but he continues to show a real willingness to push boundaries here and that fearlessness is a huge part of what makes "IA" so enjoyable. The vocals are super unique throughout, bringing a distinction to the track that pairs perfectly with the instrumentation. You genuinely never know what's coming next but it’s still got that rawness of rock absolutely flowing through!

It would be easy for a song built around an unconventional time signature and a heady theme like artificial intelligence and dwindling humanity to feel more like an academic exercise than an actual song, but "IA" never falls into that trap. You stay engaged and alive throughout. For a lot of people, the language gap might be tough, but that’s why we’re hoping you learn it about here before you listen!

This is such a great introduction to Sehore's next chapter. We thought the song was playful, strange, and confidently different.
