Supreme Unbeing share their flawless and polished debut album, "Enter Reality"

Review by Austin Sher

It’s finally here! Released today on October 10th, 2020, Supreme Unbeing have finally unveiled their debut album, Enter Reality. Please join us as we break down our thoughts on the long awaited release.

After months of reviewing the lead up singles to Enter Reality, the day has finally come, the album here. Strap in folks, because things are about to get heavy and real. During this lead up, we’ve reviewed the singles for “Animals”, “Dreaming”, and “Solution”. All were equally fantastic, but now the real deal is among us, let’s dig in.

If only it were possible to deliver songs bigger than the singles released, that would be quite the difficult feat. Well, Supreme Unbeing put us back in our seats after our first listen of Enter Reality and we’re proud to say we’ve been here throughout the journey and process. Where to even begin at this point. If you’ve read any of our past reviews at this point, it has quickly become clear that their heavy genre was not always a favorite of ours, but after listening multiple times, we’ve quickly changed our tune on that past statement.

Besides the lead singles, we have to point out some of our instant favorites from our first full listen through. Immediately, “Angel of the Dark” and “The Sinner” popped out at us as immediate winners. That’s not to say the rest of the album doesn’t rock, because it absolutely does, but wow these ones just set the bar even higher.

One of our main takeaways from the record is just how cohesive it was. Sometimes when bands put out a bunch of singles leading up to a big album release, it can come off as jumbled or scattered. Not in this case, it’s one uniform sound. You’d know that by listening, you’re hearing a distinct Supreme Unbeing song. In some ways, this can be a really well regarded compliment because carving out your own sound these days has become incredibly difficult. With their being so much output from bands, it all can sound very “samey”. That’s where this band shines the brightest, they’re different, and they know it.

Without giving too much away, because we’d prefer you make your own opinions, we’re very obviously suggesting and recommending that you take the time out of your day and listen in. We promise you won’t regret it. For this into music with a heavier sound, high quality production, and just overall rocking riffs, this is the record for you!
