Xkitx delivers another thrilling new single, "Secondo"

Released officially on Christmas Day, we’re thrilled because Xkitx is back with his second single, conveniently named “Secondo”. Read along with us as we share our thoughts on the track, as well as a refresher on this upcoming artist.
You may remember not too long ago when we reviewed Xkitx’s debut single, “DAY AND NIGHT”, well now the artist is back with another techno hit, “Secondo”. This “cyborg from the future” wants to leave the reader with a message before we begin; to dance and let go. From the artist themself, “It is the passage to freedom you seek, you will find it in the bliss of ecstasy through movement. Your spirit can not be controlled, you have higher power within you Seek it and you shall find the solution”.
At a little under 4 minutes, this is a perfect transition into what we were hoping and expecting from Xkitx. There are new ideas flowing from moment to moment and it’s definitely building from his debut. We’re crossing our fingers that with the release of this single, it may be hinting towards a bigger release, such as an EP or full length. We’re right at the beginning of 2021, so at this point, anything could happen.
Anyway, as techno fans ourselves, it’s always so nice to hear new names in the game. Within the electronic dance music scape as a whole, it seems as though there’s a million subgenres, but nothing as classic as good and classic techno. So when Xkitx dropped this one on us, not only was it refreshing to hear something that alludes to the classic themselves, but also that he’s so clearly put a signature spin on things.
The artwork for any music is usually your first impression of what it’s going to sound like and the atmosphere it might give off. In this case though, it got us even more pumped just looking at it and preparing for what we might hear. To no surprises though, it’s a killer single that we’re highly recommending and suggesting you take the time to check out. If you’re trying to get your blood pumping or just need some originality in your life, this one’s for you!
