Pearl Jam Serve Up a Huge Set at Ohana Fest 2026

I heard one fan refer to the upcoming set as “Pearl Jam’s ‘Eras Tour,’” if you will, expecting to explore all of the band’s different moments and career highlights. Pearl Jam’s closing performance at Ohana Fest’s 10th anniversary did just that. With Abe Laboriel Jr. joining the band behind the drums, the performance carried an additional layer of significance as the group entered a new phase, while maintaining the chemistry that has defined them for decades.

With a setlist handcrafted to ebb and flow, the group took audiences on an effortless trip ranging from intimate moments to explosive rock highs that are impossible to look away from. From the biggest hits to more deep cuts, it’s clear that Pearl Jam continues to grow and adapt, while doing it with their hearts on their sleeves. The band’s catalog offers some of alternative rock’s most recognizable songs. Classics like “Even Flow,” “Alive,” and “Black” caused even casual listeners to have the response of, “Oh! I know that one… and I know that one, too!”

This performance felt like less of your standard headlining set and more like a moment between the band and their devoted community. It was a performance rooted in resilience, with a defining moment being Billy Strings’ surprise appearance. The perfect balance of genuine gratitude, reflection, and humor carried over through the entirety of their set. Maestro Eddie Vedder repeatedly showcased the vulnerability that has always been central to his own songwriting, as well as the band’s core identity.

During moments where you could see him begin to tear up, his fans would call out to him, reminding him of their love and that they’re right there with him. Also separating himself from other festival creators, Vedder not only laughs but specifically praises the community of people gathered outside of the festival fences, listening without a ticket, and refers to them as the “sand people” who come around every year.
