Primavera Sound 2027 Celebrates 25 Years with Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Massive Attack, & More

Primavera Sound is turning 25, and Barcelona's most beloved festival is marking the milestone in style. Returning to Parc del Fòrum for its anniversary edition, the festival has unveiled a 2027 lineup of 151 artists that honors the sounds that defined its history while spotlighting the new generation shaping where music goes next.

The main festival days run June 3-5, 2027, and the names at the top of the bill make the ambition clear. Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Massive Attack, Turnstile, FKA twigs, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Hayley Williams, Bad Gyal, Lola Young, Pavement, Caroline Polachek, ADÉLA, Prospa, and Skrillex b2b Ninajirachi lead a poster that is also notably female-forward, with women making up 9 of the 14 most prominent artists on the lineup.

What has always set Primavera apart is its range, and this year's bill leans into it fully. Rock, pop, electronic, singer-songwriters, punk, and experimental sounds share space with country, flamenco, K-pop, and metal, the kind of genre-hopping that lets you wander from one stage to the next and stumble into your new favorite artist. There are plenty of firsts, too. Doechii, Hayley Williams, Lola Young, ADÉLA, and Angine de Poitrine are all set to make their Spanish debuts, while The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Phoebe Bridgers, Tinashe, and Bleachers will play Primavera Sound Barcelona for the first time.

Then there are the appearances that have long defined the festival's spirit. The lineup includes the rarely seen Vashti Bunyan and Bonnie "Prince" Billy, along with Bradford Cox returning as Atlas Sound, the kind of special bookings that make Primavera feel like a gathering for the people who truly love music. Skrillex b2b Ninajirachi is set to close out the main festival, a high-energy send-off that bridges generations of dance music fans.

And the party doesn't stop there. The week culminates with a Sunday dedicated entirely to electronic music, including a joint takeover from Richie Hawtin, Four Tet, and Dixon, a rare team-up that promises to be one of the most talked-about sets of the weekend. Along with an opening day and a parallel programme still to be revealed, the festival will stretch across a full week, June 2-6.

Tickets are right around the corner. Fan Sale registration is open now on the Primavera Sound website, with the Fan Sale beginning October 8 at 11:00 CEST, followed by general sale on October 9. Residents of the Barcelona metropolitan area can also get their general full festival ticket with a 10% discount by filling in the relevant form on the festival's site.

For a festival that has spent a quarter of a century championing adventurous, boundary-pushing music, this lineup feels like both a celebration and a statement. If a week by the Mediterranean with some of the best artists in the world sounds like your kind of summer, mark your calendar now.
