Together Pangea talks "DYE", Recording Process, & Touring

Currently touring on their fifth full length album titled DYE, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Together Pangea’s frontman, William Keegan, for a super in-depth discussion surrounding the record. Please check out our full interview below.

Made up of William Keegan (guitar, vocals), Danny Bengston (bass), and Erik Jimenez (drums), Together Pangea are a rock band originating from Southern California. Released via Nettwerk Records, DYE marks the group’s fifth record in which they’re continuing to expand their sound and are so clearly still having a blast with it. Getting to speak with William was a fantastic experience and we covered so many topics such as the background of the record, it’s roots, how it was recorded, and so much more.

While of course we don’t want to spoil anything because we’d much prefer you listen or watch for yourselves, the real priority is digging into their expansive discography. We’ve been listening to them for quite some time, but have yet to have the chance to see them live. Being based out of Los Angeles ourselves, they’ve got a pairing of hometown shows coming both in LA and Santa Ana. If you’re a fan, or are just discovering them for the first time, we can already feel it’s going to be a beyond memorable show!

As for the record itself, and for a majority of their albums as a whole, Together Pangea is continuing to put together these cohesive album experiences that deliver big from start to finish. While there are certainly some tracks you could pull off to become singles for playlisting purposes, DYE is best consumed in chronological order for the full effect. We spoke about it in length, but even their setlists resemble a rollercoaster of emotions that feature specifically placed songs to evoke a mood. DYE is no different and enthusiastically captures something we feel is becoming a lost art.

With all that being said though, please do yourselves a favor and check out the links below in order to listen, follow along, and of course to stay tuned for everything else on the way from the band. Enjoy!
