Ben Harold & The Rising take a closer look on "These Days" - Interview

Fresh off the release of their all new record titled These Days, we got the wonderful opportunity to sit and speak with Ben Harold all about the finer details of the record! Don’t miss out, watch our full interview below.

Currently representing the Milwaukee music scene, Ben Harold & The Rising are an Americana, Roots, and Rock band that just put out one of our favorite records of the year, These Days. Getting to speak with lead man Ben Harold was a total treat and getting to learn about the origins of the record and how it all came together became the perfect insight for enjoying it all even more. We want you to listen to the music, but don’t skip the chat either!

Filled with meaningful lyricism that paints a picture from song to song, These Days plays on its infinite strengths through innovation in sound and pure passion coming through from each member. While there’s so many positives to point out here, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention just how cohesive the record is from start to finish. Sure, there are plenty of tracks you could pull off and advertise as singles, however These Days plays wonderfully from start to finish. It’s the perfect mood lifter for all occasions.

From the relatableness of it at all, to the genuineness coming on the vocal delivery, it really was an honor to get to hear the intimate details. Picking out a favorite song would borderline be a waste of time because all 42 minutes are magical. It feels as though the release of full length albums is becoming a lost art with a focus on individual singles these days, so we obviously commend the band for doing it right and creating something we’ve grown to love quickly.

With all that being said though, These Days is certainly an album you’re not going to want to miss. If Ben Harold & The Rising weren’t on your radar before, let this be the major wake up call to get listening!
