Italian rocker, Davide Buffoli, hits it big on third record, "The Grand Slam"

Released in 2017, but still as amazing today, Davide Buffoli has shared with the world his incredible EP, The Grand Slam. Read along with us for our full thoughts on the record, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Currently based out of Italy, Davide Buffoli is an extremely talented guitarist with a vision of the rock sound that he creates with. As one of the most valid and creative musicians around in his area, his songs and his musical world bring out an effervescent built sound with a bursting blend of guitar riffs, eclectic musical sceneries, beautiful melodies and classic rock chords.
The first thing you’ll be able to hear is that his sound is authentic as it gets when it comes to rock and roll. It’s filled with energy and delivers an emotional adrenaline. There’s roots of pop, but overall, it’s a classic rock sound that was wonderfully crafted by Davide and his killer vocal deliveries.
Coming in at 5 total songs, spanning 18 minutes in run time, there’s absolutely something for everyone on The Grand Slam. Right at the start with the record opener, “The Grand Slam”, this singer and songwriter shows off everything he’s got. Filled with soaring guitar riffs, high notes in his vocals, and big arena-style drums, there’s no doubt your heart will be pumping after Track 1.
Now while the artist is isolated in Lombardy, Italy in lockdown currently, it would truly be a dream come true to witness him play the EP in full on a tour someday. As we hope to get back into the swing of things in terms of live music, this is the type of record that deserves to be heard in a live setting with a full band. Seriously though, if you’ve got 20 minutes to spare in your busy days, this is what you should be listening to. An Italian rock star, born and bred, trying his hand at American rock and roll. It’s without a doubt a huge success on his part.
