Devious R shares his fresh new single, "IDK Anymore", featuring Wett Brain

Officially released on November 15th, 2020, Devious R has shared his brand new track “IDK Anymore” with the world. Read along with us for our full thoughts on the track, in addition some insight and details on the artist.
For those who may be unaware, Devious R is an 18 year old upcoming rapper from Newcastle NSW Australia. Since the age of 12, the artist has been writing music, and since then has been trying to branch out with different sounds and genres. He’s certainly showed off his versatility doing so and we’re extremely excited to see what directions he heads in.
The artist let us know that “IDK Anymore” is a song about not being sure if you want to move forward because you’re too busy being stuck in your head. That’s an extremely common problem in most people’s lives we feel, but it always feels better to get the emotions and stories out on the table for the rest of the world to relate with.
Speaking on the song itself, we absolutely loved what we heard overall. Coming in at under 2 minutes was really the only problem. We loved it, but didn’t want it to end! The mix of the original beats, the subtle finger picking, and the overall vibe we truly fantastic from start to finish. We’re thrilled that Devious R had a new track out, we just wish it were a bit longer. Considering he’s creating new tunes though, maybe this is a sign that more is to come.
Featuring Wett Brain on the track, and produced by Subrigo, the three talented artists came together to create something original, and overall fun to listen to. As much as we loved “IDK Anymore”, we had no choice but to dig into the rest of the artist’s discography. To no surprise at all, it’s all great! We particularly enjoyed the artist’s 2020 release of Hurt, which was a 4 song EP that delivered in a big way. Check it out!
