DBL X-POSURE share dance-filled music video for “Boppin With My Headphones”
A part of their most recent self-titled EP, DBL X-POSURE have just shared an electrifying music video to accompany the single, “Boppin With My Headphones”. Keep reading for our thoughts on the release, as well as a background on this group.
For those unfamiliar with their work, DBL X-POSURE are a dance and rap duo, made up of identical twins, AJ and TJ. Currently based out of Dulwich, the songwriters and composers are consistently pushing the boundaries within their music and choreography. On their recently released single “Boppin With My Headphones”, potentially our favorite from the record, they’ve gone above and beyond in creating this music video that truly pushes their limits as creators and creatives.
Now while we do have the video linked below for you to enjoy, we’d urge everyone to give the song and even the EP a listen for embarking on the visual. What DBL X-POSURE have been able to accomplish with this single alone is highly impressive. Leaning heavily on melodic vocal deliveries, original beats, and a bumping bass line, the song is downright primed to get anyone up and dancing. With help from Naz Pourzal on the choreography and filmed at Valo Studios with their videographer Kit, all collaborators here have put their best foot forward in something that is visually stunning and brings a new life to their music as a whole.
The video itself really is a masterclass in dancing and choreography, pulling off moves and creating a stage design that’s intensely stimulating. Paired with the greatness of the song, which on its own is immensely catchy, we’ve quickly found that this is such a perfect entry point to the rest of the duo’s music. Quite honestly, they’ve been prolific in their releases in 2022, starting the year with this EP, but then following it up with 5 additional singles that are wonderful in their own right. While we do hope that we see more music videos like this on future songs, for the time being, we’re more than OK with rewatching this. The more we’ve replayed it, the more it uncovers itself. Enjoy!
