Representing the Nashville music scene, Devin Williams is a 7-time Billboard Top 30 Christian Rock artist whose passion is to truly connect personal stories and inspirations through his music. Putting together meaningful lyrics within his music, he’s blown us away with his performance on this newest single, “Every Eye”.
Williams’ musical desire is to spread the message of God’s love and Grace. “The Bible tells of a day coming when the mystery of this life will be revealed and the Creator will stand in the heavens and all will see Him,” says Williams. Specifically on “Every Eye”, the artist has created a lyrically profound, yet highly energetic and sonically pleasing piece of music that we instantly loved based off of our initial listens.
What has impressed us the most though is how Devin Williams has managed to take what he loves most, transform it into a true piece of beauty like his music, and share it to the world for all to enjoy. We’ve listened to some of his other works, and to no surprise in the slightest, it’s just as great. On this single though, you can palpably hear his evolution in sound and maturity overall. Instrumentally, this song rocks in every sense of the word from top to bottom. Featuring crunchy guitars, a succinct drumming performance, and commanding vocals, Williams has crafted a track for all to enjoy.
Relatable music is what this artist is creating, and for his existing fans, we can only imagine they’re on board with what he’s putting out. Even if you’re not necessarily a religious person, this is still an outright lovable piece of rock and roll. Not straying away from the “heavy” sounds is a bold move, but we still do feel that it helps to get the point across given the subject matter.
Overall though, it should go as no surprise that this is 100% a song, and an artist, that we recommend exploring and listening to in full. There’s so many gems within his discography and we implore you to dig in and get listening! For now though, check out “Every Eye” and crank it up loud. Enjoy.
