Emily Kate delivers jaw dropping debut EP, "All In"

Out on May 14th, our jaws instantly dropped after listening in full to Emily Kate’s debut EP All In. Read along with us for our full and complete review of the record, as well as a background on the artist as well.

Effortlessly bridging the gap between country and pop, Toronto’s Emily Kate has brought every positive quality in her repertoire with the release of All In. Taking influence from the likes of Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, and more, she’s managed to include a slice of her own originality into the mix as well. The album is as much of a story being told as it is a soundscaped masterpiece.

Pulling directly from her real life experiences, thoughtful and overly relatable messages are infused into her 4-song EP that make it open and available to those who are willing to listen. According to Emily, “I want to be able to say something with my music. For people to connect with themselves and feel inspired when they listen...while also having fun.” In our eyes and ears, she’s gone above and beyond on that particular sentiment, because we had a blast.

At four songs in length, spanning just about 14 minutes, it’s the perfect bite size insight into the life and experience of Emily Kate. With help from Producer of the Year, Shawn Moore, all the lovely ideas in her head were able to come together in a way that just exudes beauty at the finish line. The hype has been building since she was initially featured on Sirius XM charts, but since then, the hype has been delivered on now that release day has passed.

It would honestly be difficult to nitpick here and deem anything as a negative across our first listen. She’s taken and delivered her best songs yet on this debut EP that has successfully set a base for a blossoming career in music. As life goes and those experiences continue to build and manifest, we’ll just be over here patiently waiting for what’s sure to be an even better follow up. It won’t matter if it’s in the form of a single or an EP, we’ll be listening 100%.

Whether you’re into country, pop, or neither, there’s so many positive elements you can pull from here that you’ll enjoy no matter what. We’ve included all the important links below in order for you to listen and follow along for more, please enjoy!
