Country pop artist and social media star Erin Reese has just put out an incredibly catchy new single “Hometown Heart” that we are absolutely thrilled with. Co-written with Grammy-nominated songwriter Jamie Floyd (Kelly Clarkson & Kesha), this is just the first of five singles the artist plans to release over the next few months. Consider us excited, because we definitely need more music just like this in our lives.
With an already existing fan base, it won’t be a surprise in the slightest when all of her singles hit it big. Besides the actual music itself being breathtakingly original and heartwarming, Erin just seems incredibly passionate about the vision for her music. Speaking directly on the song though, it’s got all the elements of what we adore in a country pop single. It’s got us a riveting story within its lyricism, a lovely instrumentation, and that instantly classic vocal delivery that Erin has impressed us with.
Knowing that more is on the way from the artist has made it a lot easier for us to decide to listen to this as much as possible. You know the feeling when you really want to savor something because it’s so great? Well, we’re really getting the feeling from this and have initially resisted the urge to stream it endlessly, but now, the floodgates are open. Give us all the streams of “Hometown Heart”.
Whether a future sound heads off in a different direction, or she keeps the same pace reminiscent of this song, we’ll be happy no matter what. As long as the music keeps up with the heart and soul that drew us in, then ultimately we’ll be happy listeners.
