Fritch opens up on newest album, "Unwire Rewire Rewire" - Interview

Out officially on November 5th, 2021, Fritch’s sophomore album Unwire Rewire Rewire is all set for release. Luckily for us though, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with lead man Will Wilkinson for an in-depth interview all about the record. Check it out below!

Incorporating a wide variety of genres, but ultimately carving out something special that we’ve never experienced, Fritch’s record Unwire Rewire Rewire was an absolute delight to listen to. Even better was speaking with Will Wilkinson to truly uncover the stories behind the album and learn all about the processes of its creation and how it came about. Without a doubt, we cannot wait for everyone out there to give a listen as soon as possible.

Each song you’ll find is incredibly thought out and bold in its execution. While it felt like there were infinite redeeming factors throughout it at all, one thing that stood out the most was the cohesiveness of it at all. From start to finish, you’re experiencing a record that stands up on its own within its singles, but that provides an all encompassing message as well. It’s certainly under the umbrella of experimental in sound, but the approachability of it all is what we think makes it worth enjoying.

Albums like this that clearly took time, effort, and focus to create deserve to be talked about. It’s the sole reason it was such a joy getting to speak to Will about its inception because you can only imagine the stories that a person would hold if they’re making thought provoking music like this. Normally we’d shout out or highlight a specific song to entice your listen, but honestly, this is an album experience you should click play on and not turn back.

Without giving too much else away, especially the notes from our conversation, we implore all the readers out there to take the time out of your day and give this one your attention. We can virtually guarantee it’ll expand your mind given the atmosphere and brevity of it at all. While the record doesn’t officially release until November 5th, you can prep yourselves with the rest of Fritch’s music below. Additionally we suggest you check them out on their social media to stay tuned for all on the way. Enjoy!
