Gaby Lagarda debuts empowering new single, "Passion"
On her first single of the year, Gaby Lagarda has surpassed our wildest expectations with an empowering new single titled “Passion”. Please read along as we break down our complete thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the artist as well.
Encompassing a wide array of genres, but with an emphasis on electropop, Mexican singer and songwriter Gaby Lagarda has put forth her memorable new track, “Passion”. Giving it all of her own personal passion and more, we couldn’t help but immediately fall in love with every facet of the song from start to finish. It should go without saying right now, but this is a single and artist that we are overwhelmingly recommending.
On the creation of the song itself, Gaby worked on “Passion” with Ali Stone, who is a Colombian producer who was recently nominated for a Latin Grammy Award. Together they kept the song sounding original and full of power and love. While it’s absolutely a song you could dance and groove along to, it gets elevated as you listen closely and begin to break down the message behind the song. If it takes a couple listens to get the message across, at least you’ll have Gaby’s killer vocals guiding you.
Speaking of her vocals, as much as adored every piece of the backing production, the true star of the show was just how elegantly yet empowering every single line was delivered. From the opening notes, Gaby displayed sincere amounts of emotion and grandeur that left us utterly speechless halfway through the track. As this is her first track of the year, we’re crossing our fingers that more can be expected on the way soon enough.
The entire package of “Passion”, from the single artwork to the song itself has just been an amazing experience to discover. We have a confident feeling that big things are on the way for Gaby and we know for a fact we’ll be keeping tabs and a close eye as she continues to share her specialized form of pop music.
