Paige Anne shares a preview of her debut EP, "First Paige" - Interview

With her debut record First Paige coming right around the corner, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Paige Anne! Please check out our full interview with the talented artist below.

Having now released a handful of singles like “Free”, “Snow” and more leading up to First Paige’s big release, getting to speak with Paige Anne was completely necessary in order to learn a little bit more about the origin of this record. As an aspiring Pop and R&B artist, Paige’s mission is to not only reinvent the genre that desperately needs a fresh look, but to give listeners a glimpse into her fruitful future as a staple artist within the genre. We love her music, but after getting to speak with her, we’re confident in her success going forward.

On the background of her music as a whole, ultimately she’s detailing a “lifetime of captivating stories to tell about some of the biggest challenges that teens face, her household dynamics as she continues to grow, love, heartbreak and more”. Paige is relatively young compared to her musical peers, but that hardly matters, because the songwriting here and the way she’s so eloquently able to communicate these layered messages are downright impressive. Her vocal chops are another story consistently hitting euphoric vocal highs and setting the tone right from the start on all of her music. With help on the production and writing end from Obeeyay, Zach Sorgen, Marko-G, Dean Kaelin, and Brittany Curtis, she’s got an exemplary team backing her, helping out to pave the road for more.

Now of course we don’t want to spoil too much of our discussion, mainly because we’d love for you to watch or listen, but a major sticking point was the confidence in which Paige exudes. Considering there’s so much going on in the Pop genre, and a lot of it does feel recycled, she’s coming forth with these fresh takes that consistently think outside the box and create new ideas. With new collaborations on the way, more music to come very soon, and some secrets worth checking back up on, we’re highly recommending you dig into her music as soon as possible.
