Queens natives Michael Bozzo and Courtney Leo have been making music together since childhood, and that longtime creative bond shows in how confidently they move through their own genre here, something they call Altriphop. It's a fitting name for a sound that pulls from so many corners of their New York upbringing, shaped by years spent soaking in the raw, moody energy of legendary venues. The grit and atmosphere runs straight through this remix, giving it a feel that’s dark and brooding among so many other things.

At a longer 4 minutes and 45 seconds, this version takes its time, and the patience really pays off.
