Vianne’s “Finally” is a beautiful triumph led by stunning lyricism
Some songs feel written and others feel discovered, like they were patiently waiting in the wings for the right moment to step into the light. With “Finally,” London-based singer-songwriter Vianne delivers the latter. It’s a deeply intimate, emotionally rich ballad that doesn’t just mark a return, but a genuine reawakening.
Here after a period defined by heartbreak and creative stillness, the track carries the weight of actually being there. You can feel that tension in the foundation, the push and pull between vulnerability, between what was lost and what is slowly being reclaimed. Yet “Finally” never collapses under that gravity. Instead it turns that pain into something quietly luminous.
At the center of it all is Vianne’s voice, and it’s nothing short of captivating. There’s a softness to her delivery that feels almost conversational at times, as if she’s letting you in on something deeply personal rather than performing for an audience. The production introduces atmospheric textures that expand the song’s world without ever overwhelming it. There’s space in between it all but with a nice pair of headphones, you really feel those subtleties come through in the best way possible.
Blending elements of pop, soul, and even some jazz, “Finally” exists in that space that feels timeless. It’s not chasing a moment, it’s creating one. The soul influence seeps through in the phrasing and cadence, giving the song a depth that lingers long after it ends. Meanwhile, the very slight jazzy undertones add a real nice touch to the instrumentation.
On the lyrical end, it’s really not about having all the answers, it’s about finding the courage to speak again. As the lead single from her upcoming project, this release is excellent! If “Finally” is any indication, Vianne isn’t just stepping back into music, she’s stepping into a new chapter that has us incredibly excited for what’s to come.
