Trixie Mattel Lights Up the Night at LA's Hollywood Palladium

Last night at the Hollywood Palladium, Trixie Mattel lit up Los Angeles with her “Solid Pink Disco: Blonde Edition” tour stop—an unapologetically campy, high-energy celebration of drag, disco, and queer joy. The venue was a sea of pink, both in lighting and in the audience’s attire, as fans embraced the themed dress code and leaned fully into the fantasy.

The night kicked off with powerhouse performances from VINCINT, Snow Wife, Sam Hiller and Mateo Segade. VINCINT’s vocals soared through the venue and into the crowd while Snow Wife brought a fierce, edgy energy that captivated concert goers from the moment they stepped on stage. Sam Hiller set the tone for the evening, keeping the crowd moving with his upbeat, disco-infused set, while Mateo Segade perfectly primed the crowd for the headliner with their vibrant, politically charged DJ set that left every person in the audience feeling empowered and refreshed.

When Trixie took the stage, the energy skyrocketed. In true Trixie fashion, she was decked out in over-the-top glam, spinning a playful, crowd-pleasing DJ set packed with disco hits, pop throwbacks, and just enough camp to keep audience members guessing. The production was polished yet delightfully over-the-top—from confetti showers to synchronized lights, and a dance floor pulsing with joyful chaos to match.

What made the night especially memorable wasn’t just the music, but the atmosphere Trixie created. It was more than a concert—it felt like a giant, glittering queer house party hosted by your closest, most interesting friend. If this show is any indication, the rest of the Solid Pink Disco tour will be just as dazzling. Trixie continues to prove she's not just a drag icon—she’s a cultural force with a talent for turning a dance floor into a celebration of pure, unfiltered joy.
